Horrible Drawings From the Past

After receiving another box of miscellaneous crap from my old desk, I chanced upon a cache of even older work notepads. Now these were from a time of real strife, as you can tell...

It appears I had genuine intentions of doing some actual work.

A gentleman horse it would seem.

Don't worry, it's just a muscular number column.

Whatever was going on that day, I'm glad I can't remember.

We Create Metal...

... As I quite enjoy destroying my own integrity I've decided to post this hit new metal anthem, created last night in the early hours of the morning. The main creative drive was derived from genuine delirium, fuelled by hours of Carcassone, cheese burgers from Mom's Diner and apple Lucozade. It's not the amazing vocal performances from my housemate and myself, nor is it the powerful guitar skills on display that make this a gem. I think you will agree that the incredible percussion, provided by Mr. Sambles, is what makes this a truly epic composition, the serene, gentle tapping of the guitar and the gentle, flinching crash of the custom miniatures heroes tin lid hi hat. Crank up the volume and OBSERVE.

Tales from the work notepad...

This is a worrying page, I estimate it's about a year old and represents a particularily high level of apathy for that day.

Spunjbab + Things

Found this little 'treat', it appears to be the cast of Spunjbab Skwarepant.

I don't even know what this supposed to be... but it doesn't look well at all.

Tales from the work notepad...

A horrible bastardised Spongebobesque trio...

Showing minor signs of stress, sorrow and stupidity.

I think maybe I was excited about NFL at the time, so this could be some kind of terrifying 50's throwback to the american football kit.

Peasantry.

Tea & Games goes live.

The first article for the monthly gaming feature 'Tea & Games' has just gone up over at Cinemart. Devoid of punctuation, sentence structure and things like that it's a true representation of my rantish nature. As a side note here is a list of other games that are due out this month that didn't make it to the published article.

You can read the full thing here http://cinemart-online.co.uk/2011/09/01/tea-games-september-edition/ and don't forget to follow @CinemartNow for clever film words.

Hopefully not another awesome super hero license turn crock of shit game.

Oh Hello Blog

If my internet presence wasn't tedious enough, I thought I'd smack down a blog to shamelessly promote my shit drawings, articles, lomography and other goings on.

First up, I have a new monthly feature over on the independent, UK based film review site Cinemart. Here I make partially cynical and fairly lacklustre commentaries on upcoming games and occasionally throw in some remnants of meaningful article writing.

I'm also working on walking a slack line, which is fucking hard!, learning to fire a traditional re-curve bow, scanning my psychologically telling doodles from my work notepads and all kinds of other shit.

To top off this spurt of writing, learning and creating, I'm also hoping to get some work done on 'The Project' with a certain Mr. Sambles of www.tomsambles.co.uk, it's been in the pipeline for four years now and needs some progress. There's a tiny preview at www.tomsambles.co.uk/giantspider
